Your Family photo session can take place outdoors location or even in the comfort of your home. Whether you want an updated photo for your annual family holiday card, or you are visiting Orlando with extended family, a photo session is a great way to capture those memories. Orlando has so many picturesque location options, from the beautiful downtown areas to the scenic parks and iconic attractions, we can find the perfect backdrop for your family photos!

I totally understand that the idea of planning a family photo session can sometimes feel daunting. Especially if you have small children or a relative who is camera shy. That’s why I do my best to make the experience as relaxed and easy as possible. I focus on capturing your family with a mix of posed and candid photos. I especially love those in-between moments that really showcase your personalities and connections with each other. My goal is to help you feel at ease and natural in front of the camera. I want to make sure your real smiles and laughter show!

The process

During our session, I’ll guide you through poses and prompts that encourage interaction and fun, resulting in images that are more natural and less stiff. Afterward, you’ll receive an online gallery of images to view and select your favorites!

Whether we’re capturing the excitement of your family vacation or your family’s everyday moments, my goal is to create timeless photos that you’ll treasure for years to come!

FAQ

What should we wear for family photos?

Having everyone wear the same thing can look outdated. A good approach is to go with neutrals and add a pop of color. Don’t be afraid to mix patterns and textures. Accessories are great too! Avoid clothes with text or large logos. Make sure everyone is comfortable. If baby is wearing itchy clothes or uncomfortable shoes, he may be fussy the whole time. Most importantly, wear something you like and feel good wearing!

Where do family photoshoots take place?

I am an Orlando photographer with most of my sessions taking place in the beautiful areas of downtown Orlando and Winter Park. For families on vacation, I’m happy to travel to other locations in Central Florida and the greater Orlando area, including Disney (Kissimmee, Lake Buena Vista), Windermere, Celebration, Lake Nona, Winter Garden, and Doctor Phillips. I also do in-home photo sessions!
